Most print delays come from a few small setup issues. Every template already handles these, and if you build from scratch, this is what our prepress team checks.
Extend backgrounds and images 0.125″ past the trim on every side.
Keep text, logos and phone numbers at least 0.25″ inside the trim.
Keep the right half of the address side for the address and postage. Leave the bottom 5/8″ clear for the USPS barcode.
Leave the top right corner open. We add the permit indicia for you.
Use 300 dpi images in CMYK. Low resolution web images print soft.
Send a high resolution PDF with fonts embedded or outlined and crop marks on.
Our design templates open in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Not a designer? Canva works too. Start a custom design at your postcard’s finished size, turn on print bleed, and download a PDF Print file with crop marks and bleed. Use the print sample PDF as your layout guide for the mailing panel.
Printing, addressing and postage on one line, with nonprofit rates built in.
Tell us what you are planning and we will mail you a sample packet of printed pieces, or put together a quote on the piece you picked.
